Peak Shed
The peak shed (also called an A-frame or gable shed) is the most familiar shed shape: two equal roof slopes meeting at a center ridge. It sheds rain and snow well, fits almost any yard, and works for everything from garden tools to a riding mower.
Concept DesignBecause the roof peaks in the middle, a peak shed has good center headroom and straight sidewalls that are easy to line with shelving or pegboard. Most builders offer it with single or double doors, so it can be set up for hand tools or for driving a mower straight in.
It is usually one of the most economical styles per square foot, which makes it a common starting point when you want dependable storage without paying for decorative extras.
